We love local business!
Business chequing, high-interest savings, commercial loans and more
Why choose Union Bay Credit Union for your business’s financial needs? Because community is everything to us – no one cares more about the businesses that keep our local communities vibrant than we do!
At Union Bay Credit Union, you’ll find all the business financial services you’d expect – from a range of business accounts and commercial lending solutions to 24-hour online banking with e-transfers, competitive merchant solutions and a vast network of ding-free ATMs.
Plus, when you choose to do business with Union Bay Credit Union, you become part of an organization that’s owned by – and 100% accountable to – our members and our communities.
Three more reasons to choose UBCU for your local business:
We don’t have a corporate head office or call centre in Toronto – or anywhere else for that matter. All decisions are made right here in your community. And if you have a question, guess who’s here to answer it? A knowledgeable fellow community member right here at Union Bay Credit Union.
Community Connect gift certificates
As a member business, you can choose to accept Community Connect gift certificates, one of UBCU’s Community Connect initiatives. Here’s how it works: You accept the certificate from your customer and include it with your regular UBCU deposit; we then credit your business account with its cash value. It’s a win-win for the entire community! Contact your UBCU branch to learn more.
Unlike the big banks, whose profits seem to grow in lockstep with their rising account fees, we reinvest our profits into the communities we serve. Plus, as a member/owner of our cooperative, you are eligible for an annual dividend based on your minimum monthly account balance. That’s just the credit union way.
At Union Bay Credit Union, we proudly advocate, educate and celebrate the communities we serve. From donations and bursaries to volunteerism and Community Connect Gift Certificates, this is how we connect with our communities. Read more...
